Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

• Step 1: Learn about this study by reviewing the information in this app (you have already started).

• Step 2: Sign up  The person with CP, Mom, and Dad provide needed information and informed consent to join the study.  Both biological parents AND the person with CP each need to give permission to participate.  Both biological parents MUST be 18 years of age or older AND able to give legal consent.

• Step 3: Provide samples and information about CP symptoms  Mom, Dad, and the person with CP each provide a saliva sample by mail for DNA analysis (don’t worry, postage is prepaid by the study).  Saliva collection kits will be shipped directly to the address you give us.  In some cases we may request additional samples or information.
